Job Summary
Bergman Brothers Staffing is seeking Asbestos Supervisors (also called Abatement Supervisors or ACM Supervisors) for projects in raleigh, nc. We offer flexible project-based work ranging from 1 week to 1 year—you decide what fits your schedule.
Work a few weeks with us, return to your full-time job, and come back when ready. No permanent commitment required. W2 employment with weekly pay. Prevailing wage projects pay up to $60/hour.

🏛️ North Carolina Asbestos Supervisor Jobs
NC projects include public schools, state facilities, universities (UNC system), and military bases (Fort Bragg, Camp Lejeune). North Carolina asbestos supervisor certification required. Many projects require background checks and drug screening. Prevailing wage work available on government contracts.

What You’ll Do
- Supervise asbestos abatement crews and ensure compliance with all safety protocols
- Conduct site inspections and maintain project documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies
- Lead safety meetings and enforce PPE usage
- Oversee air monitoring, containment setup, and clearance testing
- Train workers on proper abatement procedures and compliance
- Manage asbestos-containing material (ACM) identification, removal, and disposal
- Complete daily reports and maintain O&M plans as required
Requirements
Required:
- Current state asbestos supervisor certification (NC, SC, or GA depending on project location)
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Ability to pass background checks and drug tests as required by job sites
- Reliable transportation to project sites
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with OSHA, EPA, and state asbestos regulations
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience on government or military projects
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
- AHERA Building Inspector or Project Designer certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Union experience (where applicable)
- Experience with prevailing wage projects
Special Requirements
Many assignments are in secure government or military facilities. Candidates must be able to pass background checks and drug tests if required by our clients. US citizenship may be required for some federal projects. All work is project-based—project length and hours vary based on client needs and are not guaranteed.
Compensation & Schedule
Project Duration Options:
- Short-term: 1-3 weeks (common for small projects)
- Medium-term: 1-3 months (most typical)
- Long-term: 3-12 months (occasional, larger contracts)
